*May Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday May 20, 2025 at 7:30 pm at the township hall, located at 3988 E Ashard Rd, Harrison, MI
*The Hatton Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 7:30 pm at the Hatton Township Hall, 3988 E Ashard Rd, Harrison, MI. The purpose of the hearing is to review the Special Use Permit application for Rocks and Valley to add to their existing permit to all for dirt bikes and ATVs. Written comment may be sent to David Farrell, 1630 Arthur Rd, Harrison, MI 48625 before May 9, 2025.

**Special Election for Clare Gladwin RESD Millage Renewal-May 6, 2025
*If you are not on the permanent absentee ballot list and would like to receive an absentee ballot of the special election May 6, 2025 RESD election, please submit an application to receive an absentee ballot as soon as possible. If you don't have access to a computer, please call Clerk, Linda McClain at 989-424-0808 and she will send one out in the mail to you. Absentee ballots should be mailed out by the first week of April.

Saturday, May 3, 2025 10 am to 2:00 pm
Sunday, May 4, 2025 noon to 4:00 pm
*Would you like to become more involved with your township? A good way to start is to become an Election Inspector. Election Inspectors are paid hourly on the day of elections plus are paid for the required certification training. We will be looking to fill some election inspector positions for the 2026 State Election. Please reach out to Clerk, Linda McClain at hattonclerk@yahoo.com for further questions. Once you are certified you can work elections anywhere in the State of Michigan. Certifications are good for 2 years.
