Q:      Is the hall available to rent?
A:      No, we do not rent the hall at this time.

Q:      Do we have township trash pick-up services?  Can I be exempt from the service?

A: Hatton Township has contracted with GFL Environmental (previously American Waste) to provide trash removal services for the township at a fixed rate starting November 2020 of $167.40/year which is collected as a special assessment on the winter taxes.  There is NO exemption from this assessment.  ALL livable dwellings will be assessed regardless of occupancy.  With the new contract, the 2nd week of each month one large item can be placed out with your weekly trash for no additional charge. Tires and items containing freeon are prohibited to put out. The phone number to reach GFL Environmental (American Waste) regarding large items, curb carts, verification of pick-up days, or other matters is 989-588-6000.

Trash is picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays, depending on the location in the township.
